Choosing colour pairs

Which colour pairs look good together? Here are a few of my faves that I have seen. By highlights I mean little bits like mirrors, grill or coachlines etc...

Black car with red highlights
Red car with Black highlights
Purple car with orange highlights
Black and Orange
White and blue
White with a blue stripe

As a Purple car owner I would also be interested to know what colours you think go best with that!

Purple and green look good on some cars. I think though it's all down to individual car.

Black and white is a personal favourite, especially on jap cars with carbon fibre bonnets etc

depends on the car for me,

black and orange can look well on the likes of skylines s15s but look horrid on corsas etc

for example yours wayne would suit purple and black/carbon fibre or purple and the odd hint of a graphite grey colour, that is unless you were wanting to go all out and then i would say purple and white
