Hi to all, some serious help is needed here,
i have a space frame car which i have recently built with Chevy v8 getrag gearbox with Chevy spline, hydraulic release bearing the clutch is 10 1/4 . initially i have bought a kit from south west performance in the us which consisted of clutch plate & a pressure plate ,
on the roling road i had the clutch disintegrated under havy load,it completely shredded the friction materiel on one side of it, i than fitted anther which i had laying around, the first one was a road race kind & the second just a standard one & that too did not hold, the reason of that exercise was thet i assumed the the first one was a defect or something along this lines so i tried since i had it, any advice will be appreciated,
the estimated power is 350-400 HP with a little more torque

Sounds like you need a heavy duty twin or triple plate clutch to me.

A carbon fibre driveshaft will reduce the torsional load and may help out with reliability. Does the car have a heavy flywheel?

Do they do carbon/ceramic clutches? Was the clutch slipping before it died?

i would say you have other problems even a standard clutch should last a while

something might not be flat or might be hitting something
