Cheap turbo conversion........

Have been looking at a turbo conversion for my astra but turn's out they cost a bit,anyway stumbled on this site about VORTEC

HAS ANY ONE HEARD OF THE VORTEC CYCLONE aparently they are put in the hose after the air intake to increase flow like a turbo,they have impressive figures on the site and state you get 10 to 15 BHP on any car for a lot less money. HAVE A LOOK AND LET ME KNOW.

Don't do it. I'm sure there is a thread on here already about these.
Are they those electric supercharger things? If so steer well clear.

no TN they are diferent they make the air spiral in the intake pipe.

waste of money mate and if you seen 2-3 bhp off them id be very surprised.

cheapest option to turbo your astra is to buy a doner and swap them over.

check out doing a scrapyard rear end turbo conversion.
Seems the cheapest and easiest way, may get away with a diesel turbo there as there is little heat? Could be easily done with scrap yard and builders merchants bits. Check out PPC magazines turbo your car series
