Found this and thought that it is great advise for home mechanics regarding head bolts and ARP studs.

Should head bolts or head studs be retorqued?

Do you need to retorque head bolts or studs after the engine sits or is broken in? The answer is no, mostly.

I see people re use the old bolts and studs! It worries me what sort of people are out there sometimes.

ARP studs can be used more than once and if you keep blowing gaskets then generally it's not the stud,bolt or gaskets fault as the head may be warped,bolts/studs not tightened in the correct sequence or wrong type of gasket.
