I have heard that it is illegal to remove factory fitted cats, is this true and if so can anyone recomend a sports replacement at a budget..:bigsmile:

not true mate. but you will stuggle to get it through an MOT without it due to the emmsions.

why not get a decat pipe and just swap it back for the MOT ?

Do you know of a good decat pipe replacment and by who and how much!,and will the emmsions pass with it or will i need to put the factory one back.
will i gain any horse power or torque..................thanks

What other mods have you done? You won't see a massive increase but you will notice a difference. And you will need to put the cat back in place for an MOT.
