my car - mk2 2006 ford focus sport 1.8 TDCI.
Over recent weeks when I go to start my car from overnight park I start it and it smokes (white) and shakes and sometimes knocks for about 1 minute after starting it, symptoms much worse if revved during this. after 1 minute or so it clears and drives great all day/night until following morning.
I have tried 2 brand new sets of glow plugs and the glow plug relay is showing on dashboard when the key is in ignition so these all seem okay.
there are no warning lights on.
I noticed recently on a warm night/morning the symptoms are still there but not half as bad.
