Have you ever sold or bought a car from someone you know?

How did it work out?

Personally I vowed never to buy a car from someone I know or even sell it to them. I know too many friendships that have become strained due to fualts and problems that arose in the car.

I'm about to sell my Saxo to a guy at work, but tbh, he is 38, hasn't even got a provisional and he only wants it cause he thinks he will look cool with it!

ive bought a few cars of mates its always good to know the last owner and how they treated there cars

ive also sold cars to mates with no comebacks sold as seen

i would rather not sell to mates but if they want it and have the money so be it
i never help them if anything goes wrong do the job throu the garage but that it

only one i would help and might have to is the bloke that i sold my last trans am to as i want it back once he has finished

Buying is OK, but I'll never sell a car to a friend. 'cause I'm a technician, they would force me to take care of the after sales service too ! lol!
