BMW X1 Runflat tyres

I need a complete set of runflats for my X1, has anyone anyone any suggestions as to the best manufacturer with particular reference to longevity,traction etc.Also, the range available seems very limited with only Goodyear,Pirelli or Bridgestone available in my size 225/45/18.

Car purchased with runflats.!! I considered changing to ordinary tyres but after having a puncture at 70 on the M62, I realised that runflats are safer,despite their hard ride etc.

There is not much to choose from between them to be honest. ContiSport Contact 5's were my favoured tyre.

But if you go by the tyre ratings the Michelin Primacy 3 ZP's offer the best wet grip and best fuel efficiency in this size. They are also in the low to mid price range.
