BMW E36 with VTEC!

GO for a valvetronic BMW - not throttle - valve lift and timing is altered to control airflow into the engine instead. It's a better system than the system in my E39. My straight six has the double VANOS, which alters intake and exhaust cam timing independently but there is still a conventional throttle body. Works quite well to be honest. There's enough power and torque to drive it about and the economy is pretty reasonable, too.

It's been nicely done. I bet it actually is quite something, a lovely light revvy Honda engine in BMW's rear drive chassis. Why not!

With all the patents and rows over copying why not take the best bits from a number of manufcaturers and make one kick ass car.

It looks like a clip from a "Best Motoring" TV program, they have some interesting projects on there.

No turbo?
