Do you remove bird strikes as soon as you notice them or do you wait a bit?

I try to get rid of them ASAP because I've noticed they really eat into the paint. Has anyone else noticed this?

Never had one stuck TBH. I hit a pheasant last year. Well it hit me in the middle of the windscreen. Well I think it was a peasant. It was nearly on my lap.

Lol TN I think Waynne means bird droppings. Funny you should say that because I've just got home from work and the shiny new GT has got bird **** on the bonnet. WASH IT OFF STRAIGHT AWAY!

Bird droppings have very aggressive acids in them that will etch the paint if you leave them. Obviously well protected paint helps.

Ahhhhh ok.
Nah I just leave it. My silver Ti is absolutely covered in it. I've even though about buying a pellet gun and waiting for the culprits. ;):lol::lol:
