Best Tuning Mods For a Citroen ZX Volcane 1.9i

Just wondering were to start with my new project, ZX Volcane 1.9i, want to get more power out of her so any tuning mods.

It is the 1.9 turbo diesel?

if so those cars are rare as rocking horse dropping,

a stage 1 tune up is a good start, I can give you a guide on how to do this,

No its the 1.9i, the petrol one.

ah right, is it the 8v or 16v?, both are very good engines

Its the 8v one

It's same as the 205 gti then, so same rules apply there then, the chassis though is the same as the 306 and the xsara,

The ZX chassis was brilliant. Supple and comfortable but with superb body control and steering response.

It was Citroen's mainstream diversion from it's oleo-pneumatic setup and the press lauded it for it's clever passive rear wheel steering and almost perfect damping/ride compromise.

Ahead of it's time in many ways.

Indeed, and Psa are said to be the best in the business at making dampers,

And is the base for the 306 it is why I love it so and why it sold in big numbers, I do think that the 306 is better looking than the zx and has aged well
