Of all the cars you've had BEFORE the current one which one was your favourite?

For me the A4 Quattro Avant was the best, it was so much fun to drive, handled really well and sounded great at full throttle. I do miss that car, I even prefer it to my current one!

Audi S2, I could KICK myself everytime i think about it. WHY OH WHY did i sell her? What was i thinking that day?.V(

I have had a few I have missed and for different reasons. I had an Omega Tourer V6 auto, spacious, comfortable and pretty quick. Chevette HSX, rare and fast. I missed my last Land Rover so bought another one!

You may well ask buddy! Friend of mine sold his Porsche limited edition 928 years ago because - his woman at the time; (Stuck up cow) said he should have a sensible car to drive around in like daddy has and not some "flashy sports car to pull other women in". To this day he is still bitter & twisted about it.

Mine had nothing to do with a woman, Ive only got myself to blame for it which makes it worse.
I did however have to sell my Motorbike to fund a divorce which was the fault of said Frauleins:(
It takes a long time to get back to bring able to afford flashy after the costs of divorce

So I hear buddy, any man involved in divorce proceedings should automatically be told by the judge to keep his car/motorbike/home cinema/favourite watch and any other man toys that he has - it should be the law |B

Best is a subjective thing a car can be the best for many reasons. In 1963 my 1958 Ford 100e was my pride & joy & deffo a contender for 'best' pash wagon. A White 850 Mini would be my wifes 'best' car as we had our first date in it. My first modified car was 'best' at everything for a white although a Supercharged Austin Healey would be pants today. My first Lotus was a dream come true an ex Jerry Marshall modified car it was 'best' back in the early 1980's. My GSM Flamingo was the rarest car I owned only 2 in the UK, Gordon Murray had the other. Best Driving my Audi Sport I loved that car. Fastest is the Cossie I still own. Hyper car fast I have great affection for it. So many cars 'best' at many things but the bottom line is they are just cars.

I know my Mondeo st is not the best car I have owned as the currant one is better without doubt.
However its the one I liked best.

Escort RS 2000 Mk2, Just couldn't afford to insure it during the premium revisions 20 odd years ago

Yes I remember the RS 2000 MK2 very well from back in the day <B

While I was away at Uni, when I came back home for my holidays, I use to fit electric windows, alarms, central locking, stereos etc for a company called Molsons based in Romford Essex. One of their customers was an RS specialist based in Ilford Essex called Mike Wells.

They were a legend at the time, their project cars were always way out of my budget but gorgeous to look at and to work on ;)

Either my B7 RS4 because it handled like being on railway tracks or my C63 for the noise alone - even if it lacked any handling finesse and spent most of its time wagging it's tail and bellowing smoke from the rear arches.

1997 Saab 9000 Anniversary! 2.0 LPT Auto.
Bit boring, standard apart from a hopeless Saab road holding kit (drunk plus access to ebay is lethal!!) pretty slow but a great car.
I had no idea how tunable these are back then, so swapped for a 9-5 Griffin, and that was terrible compared to the 9000.
