back of car looks plain, what can be done ??

have a look at rear bumper on car, it looks too empty i think being debadged etc

I didn't have time to do a proper spoiler at all. Something very subtle and about 1 inch above the boot would look nice. Especially if the spoilers edges wrapped round the trunk lid slightly. A bit like the Rover 220 GTi spoiler I suppose.

I just did a bit of quick editing in Fireworks. It really was a bodge though but I hope it gives some ideas.

yeh the tinted lights look good, however is it legal to do that?

You'll need to check your local laws really. Over here, as far as I understand it, as long as the lights shine through and are still clearly distinctive IE red, amber and white you are ok.

You really don't need a very heavy tint at all to achieve this look. You can usually buy a stick on film which is designed for rear lights and there is also a spray paint you can use but the latter can be messy and is more permenant.
