Audi A6 1.8 T tuning

hi i have just bought a 1998 's' a6 1.8t. my previous car was a nissan 300zx tt but have a growing family. the a6 is a lovely car to drive and it handles beautiful due to 45mm lowering springs and 18'' rs8 alloys but the 150bhp is a bit of a downfall...... when it is revved high it seems strangled so looking to fit a k&n induction kit and a forge splitter dump valve so the management doesnt get affected.
money is a bit of an issue so cant really spend much, any ideas guys.......
have looked at a k04 turbo but will have to keep the standard k03 for now but any advice &help would be much appreciated.

Why not do a remap - youll get another 50 usable reliable ponies to play with.
