Where are you from? Is it the 1.8 and if so get a remap done and have a look at awesome GTi for parts. They can get these to about 350bhp.

was the 177 at the wheels ?
remember the 190 is at the flywheel and there will be more loses through the quattro.

remap will take this up to around 215bhp (again at the fly) - this is getting pretty much up to the limit of the K03s turbo thats used in the 180-190 models. to get more than this your really needing to change the turbo. best options are the K04 turbo from the more powerful 225 varients of the S3 TT etc or get your 03s hybridised. if your after power the most common turbo is the GT28 this is what awesome use/d in there big turbo builds. stock internals can take 350bhp. although this can be done through the gt28 it is normally mapped less than this for reliability

buy a sprint booster , the best four hundred i have ever spent on acar,i have a 3.ltr a4 audi the car now smokes.

Sorry £400 for something that changes how quickly the throtle opens, press the pedal quicker it does the same job. the throttle can only open the same amount and it doesnt change the fuelling or the power output all it does is open the throttle further for the same amount of pedal travel. on some cars if you read the reviews the throttle is fully open by around 30% of the pedal travel rather than around 70%
£300 for a remap and your looking at around a 20bhp gain improved throttle response as well

PS MY AUDI IS AUTO NO RE MAP WILL WORK WITH AUTO TRANS . LATTER

im sorry it wont do anything to make the car more torque. all thats inside it is a fancy variable resistor. that send a signal to the ECU exact same as the standard one its only the value thats different so the throttle opens quicker thats it. a technical minded person could go to a scrappy rip the standard one off and change it for alot less than 400
go and get it dyno'd and see how much of a gain you have got

as for it being an auto and it cant be remapped when was the last time you looked? if its the DSG box (or what ever they want to call it) then you can have both the box and engine ECUs mapped. one increases the power and torque and the other allows you to actually use the increase

hi i think that dsg tranny came out latter, as far as a remap that just advances the timming , i no the sprint is just a resiter but it does work ,i no it will not give you more horse , but i can tell you it does work just like a remap and that is why it is a mod. but if i can get a number for a re map i would appreciat thanks

If you are in the US of A, the best you can do would be to contact the Audi specialist, Javed at 034 EFI.com, he is the best in the business.I have fitted the 034 Efi standalone ECUs to three cars here so far(two Mitsubishi 300GTs and a Nissan 300Z, they are easy to tune.

sorry i thought you were on about a 1.8t as i was about to say theres alot more than just advancing the timing.

have you tried the main world wide ones - revo giac apr

as your in canada im not sure whats your best bet for the 3ltr

A remap that I supply takes it from 190bhp to 235bhp and the torque from 180 lb/ft to 223 lb/ft.

id start getting worried with that Lemon as the K03s is advisable that 240 is the safe max for it
