Hi Alex. Thanks for joining - it was me that quizzed you at modded  . I'm working on some pics of the show (I got about 997 photos so its taking me ages to wade through them all.) - and will certainly be including your beastie. How about giving us all a run down of the specs. Your intercooler and raditator set up was trick!

sure that pic is when it was freshly imported from garage feeds japan ( same guys who did tokyo drift) well ive changed quiet alot since then the main mod had been the v mount intercooler .
many people go for a front mount but i wanted to be different and try the v .big but the kit is 2900 pounds plus import and there for very exspensive so i shopped around and found a guy selling a flat intercooler and proceded to stip the car my self moved the radiator brackets turned it upside down and swopped it back to front red worked all the water piping and intake and it works a treat oh and i jig sawed my 1000 pound bonnet so the hot air is lifted as cold brought in .my friend helping nearly passed out couldnt belive i was so brutal but never mind you only live once heres some pics
standard as i bought it

nice

just 1 question i thought the emmissions killed off the rx7 in britain how do you and the other owners get around it?
its somethig ive wondered about

what do you mean emmissions? mot if thats what you mean its an m reg so even tho it came with a cat i took that off and it doesnt need one to pass a sniffer

Thanks for the info. I bet you were a bit nervous cutting into the bonnet like that? Looking at the engine when you got it I see how much you have had to change to get the intercooler in place - well done I really take my hat off to you.

Did you know that a competition RX7 exhaust grows 1 inch in length due the heat at the end of a race? I guess the engine run hotter - they certainly seem efficient units if you look after them.

Do you go on trackdays much?

yes love track day s recently at trax silverstone had a few laps came out in the middle of the second bunch and ended up after only four laps second in the first bunch .some twat crashed and the track time was abandoned .it s a well weighted car lovely to drift sliding into corners on braking and drifting out i have vids will try to get them on you tube

Looks absolutely awesome - nice plan. Thanks for posting up the pics. I've copied the thread to the gallery so hopefully more people will see the car if it is in here.

I'm glad business is going well Im still interested if you wanted to write a guide to ICE and we can put this on the main site and give you a plug? I've upgraded your account so you can post images without them having to be moderated (sorry but upload images are not possible until you have 10 posts!)

more to add been busy finding a nice rimage for the rex and there going on tomorrow cant wait old wheels sold to another rex owner and i decided on these 19 " split rims stagered so back will be wide than the front

Hi Buddy, thanks for the updates - the lights are class (do they still pop up?) You're pretty good at this drifting malarky :D

looks awsome, got an uncle who is doing a complete restoration on an RX7 and he might like this thread, allthough I think there won't be much of the Mazda in there after he's done with it...

no wayne the second image was befor the r magic conversion the drift pic is the old lights track martials wanted the session to be lit when drifting so we had to have lights on .
the lights now stay that sleepy look all the time

That sounds like fun! You going to upload some gallery shots (See the NEW gallery feature in your profile!) It would be cool to see some pics.
