Are hands free kits safe

Do you think that using a hands free kit with your mobile phone in the car is safe?

Does the act of having a conversation or answering a phone present a big distraction to you?

Some people seem to be able to multi task whilst others (like myself) need to fully focus on their driving.

It doesn't bother me. I can use a hands free kit and still drive but I tend not to. If someone phones me and I'm driving then they'll have to wait till I get to my destination and I call them back.

i use the loudspeaker. dont find it distracting.
suppose it depends on the person. some struggle to walk and talk at the same time never mind drive

I used to used a Parrot CK-313 very successfully but I do think that the conversation can be a distraction, hands-free or otherwise.

im the same as tn i dont answer my phone till i get to my destination
but everyone who knows me knows that ! but if i get 3 successive long ringing calls (i dont use the answer phone either!) i will pull over and answer also everyone who knows me knows that aswell
