Simon - You are not alone - race spec imprezas have a different fuel tank & pickup design. Get the STi anti surge fuel pump assembly, importing it direct from Japan.
As a cheaper fix you could modify your fuel pump assembly by extending the pipe that returns the fuel to the tank so that it pours fuel directly over the fuel pickup netting, that can help a lot.

subaru impreza take right hand corners at speed, loose's power like it's running out of fuel need help? have tried all sorts! any suggestions?

Hi Shane & welcome to torquecars sport computer chip is the way to go. This can really increase power and often economy. Be careful though the engines are not that strong and 1 piston - no 4 I think is prone to damage. It's worth thinking about stronger pistons and cranks as well.

I have a Impreza WRX 2001 model, its had some mods, exhaust, filters etc. I would like to get it close to 300BHP, can anyone give me any pointers?
