Be carefull Tony - turbos work better on low compression engines - I think the boost you can safely use will not justify the extra cost. NOS would give a noticable improvement for little outlay. Electronic ignition timing should be considered - I believe you can make a kit yourself using maplins parts to do this cheaply. Cold air feed pipe will also help a little.

Anyone got any tips for "affordably" further tuning a 1275 A series engine with twin 1.5 inch SU carbs, Kent fast cam, Long Centre Branch Exhaust Manifold, Custom Exhaust System, Cooper Flat-Top High Compression Pistons, huge valve mini cooper S (I think) head (slightly skimmed), balanced crank and triumph flywheel? Is a turbo the only way up from here?
