Anyone thinking of buying an electric supercharger from eBay?

MCM are brilliant! Bit like TopGear, but Australian, and actually know a thing or two about cars. Watched every single episode!

I love MCM. I wanna move to Australia now. lol. So many neat cars they got we didn't (That Daihatsu Cuore intrigues me. We never got those.). Actually, here's a list of the cars they've worked on we don't get here in the states:
Nissan Silvia S15
Nissan Micra
Daihatsu Cuore
Daihatsu Sirion
Nissan Pulsar N15 GTI-R
Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T
Audi S3 (The only A3 we get here in the states is the A3 Estate/wagon)
Nissan March Super Turbo
Suzuki Alto RZR Works
Toyota Starlet Turbo
Ford Meteor

I believe that's it. We got the 180SX here, but called the 240SX... because we didn't get it with the SR20DET or the CA18DET engine. We got it with the N/A KA24E, and later models got the KA24DE.
We also got the Ford Laser here, but here it was called the Ford Escort. Interestingly, only the US market got a station wagon/estate version of the car. We did get the Mazda 1.8L DOHC BP engine in it, but only in the performance oriented Escort GT. Normal Escorts got a 1.9L CVH SOHC familiar to you Europeans. Also, whereas their Laser ended in 1994, our Escort of that style ended in 1996. 1997 a US market specific Escort was released based on the same chassis using a 2.0L variant of the CVH engine. Coupe variants of that model were solely powered by Ford's 2.0L Zetec, which wasn't available in the sedan or wagon/estate.

I personally find the Daihatsu and Micra extremely interesting, but I seem to have a fetish for small hatchbacks.

Enjoyed watching that, just for interest sake, leaf blowers do give you more power, seen a similar program once where they used a petrol unit and I was quite surprised at the power gains, looked funny though every time starting the petrol blower on the hood before driving of.

As they say, it isn't the speed of the air that's important, it's compression that counts. A normal fan can't compress air, only move it faster and according to Bernoulli the faster the air speed the lower the pressure.
