It's that time of year again so does anyone have any good tips for keeping it safe in Snowy conditions?

It doesn't matter how well you drive, there are others on the road.

Number one rule - Keep even further away from other road users than normal; if they start to slip and slide it will be harder for you to get out of the way.

Know how to throw your (car's) weight around - putting some extra traction on the front or rear (as needed) can be crucial for keeping your car moving.

Just take you're time, give the car in front plenty of room, pull off from a standing start in 2nd gear if this will help traction. Apply the brakes very gently and don't depend on the ABS to get you out of trouble. If in any doubt about you're driving ability then for goodness sake leave the car at home and take public transport. I would much prefer to have you all safe & sound out there |B

It's going to snow soon, or so they keep saying so get ready for it!
