They made some awesome turbos in their time. They were sadly prone to rust in the UK which was a shame.

The delta integrale still holds it own against the current best. Shame it's left hand drive though.

I once owned a lancia gamma (2.5ltr flat four) absolutely fantastic engine, body fell apart around it.

dont know about the lambo engine but was one not fotted woth the 3ltr v8 from a ferrari ?

your thinkin of the stratos which had a ferrari V8 init, the kit cars from hawk are to use an alfa V6 lump which has basiclly the same power if not more

the Dino Ferrari engine in the stratos was only (i say only) a 2.4ltr V6 with 190bhp much like the alfa 3ltr

the Fulvia HF was my favourite with a tiny 1.2ltr V4, like the VW VR6 engine it only used one cylinder head and two cams, one for inlet and the other for exhaust.
the noise these things made was incredible but alas only 80ish bhp
