HI GUYS
youve probably heard it before but here goes.

I just bought a pk136 pipercross kit, remus centre section, cool air flow kit 60mm duct tube with trumpets, i already have a magnex back box.
Is there any info and pics so i can cut the original air box to fit in the induction kit so i can feed the cold air flow onto a modified box is this possible to reduce heat from my engine.

Howdo.

Is it open or closed? If I remember from when I had my 2.5GSi the standard airbox wouldn't fit an open kit inside it. Some people run it with the ik sitting in the bottom half of the airbox, without a top on, and a cold air feed from the bumper/foglight/wing.

Or alternativaly take the whole airbox out and fabricate an L-shaped heat shield that the IK sits behind, again with good cold air feed.

Or even better, flog the kit and buy a BMC CDA kit, I had these, they're the best for the price IMO.

This is probably your easiest option tbh. Without the heat shield you may as well not bother installing it.

The BMC is a bit of a waste of money for what it is and by the looks of it, it would be smaller than the original air box, your second suggestion was the best of the bunch though.

To the OP,
I believe the front pipe of the vetras standard induction system is very restrictive, replace it with a suitable wider diameter pipe :)
