Alloys Make The Car

    You could have a rundown Renault Clio 2002 and slap some alloys on and it will look good.

    They can also ruin a car.

    I was never happy with the gold wheel on my car. Liked the wheels, not the colour.
    Got them changed to black and all is good again :)

    Thats very true gold and dark green shouldn't be a colour on a car

    Agreed that the alloy has to look right. I'm not a great fat of really large rims although that is the current trend. I see no performance reason to go over 18 inches and for most things a 17 inch rim gives the best weight and steering characteristics.

    I prefer 5 spoke or double spoke wheels on most cars, Audi LeMans style.

    Defo I've been looking at 16" bbs alloys but my current car is a vw polo 1.2 tsi so not a performance car at all
