Air Bag Light on

I have a Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 TS The air Bag light remains on all the time I have cleaned the connections under the seat I have had the local Alfa/Fiat enthusiast read the fault codes with his lap top clear the faults and then clear the light only for it come on just suddenly
Any suggestions.

Typically once it's on it stays on. There will be a faulty contact somewhere. I've known some people cut of the connectors and hardwire the connection, which is ok as long as you don't plan to remove the seats. Do the fault codes identify which air bag it is?
