ABS and Traction Control Lights are on

After changing my front brake pads and discs on my 07 plate mondeo the ABS and traction control lights have come on, any suggestions how to sort the problem??

I'm guessing this is down to a wheel speed sensor. Has something been knocked when the pads were fitted? Perhaps a sensor wire is not properly connected or is fitted wrongly. Has the wheel speed sensor been damaged or misaligned?
