A4 3.0tdi (240PS) remap

Hi,

Can anyone advise on the best remap for this car (current model). The best figures I've seen so far are the Superchip map also available on Bluefin.
Does anyone know of any better than this. Also I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience of this car remapped.

i did look at this for a next car (ok it was the 230 model) and looked at custom code. hte power didnt go up by much but the torque went to over 400ftlb <- more important on a diesel than power due to the lower rev range

Thanks. I just called their Scunthorpe office and the guy was very helpful. A good price too with the discount for going through the local dealer. I agree with what you say about the torque and there are some good write ups from customers on their site. I might go for this.

The new Audi's cannot be remapped via the diagnostic port due to them having "security protection". This applies to all cars with the latest EDC17 CP04/CP14 ECU..
So it can only be done by removing the ECU from the car and done on the bench..
Still good gains though on the 3.0 tdi 240bhp +40bhp/85nm torque..
