Which engine is in the donor/recipient car?

The donor car has the same engine size but its a 2000 model.

dont think the engines have changed that much so might go on

The flywheels might be different but I would have thought it should work ok with the 6 speed flywheel.

If in doubt check the part no for the 5 speed boxes on both cars with Audi, if these match then you should be ok trying the 6 speed box.
