A Low pressure Catalytic Converter and improved gas mileage?

I have a 3000GT VR4...

I want to make it more environmentally friendly... I want to get a new 'puter that will give me various options for optimum fuel efficiency, AND improved emissions

Can anyone suggest an electronics upgrade and cat to achieve this?

Install a sports cat and have the car remapped on a dyno by someone who knows your car.

Definately get a sports catalyst, you can buy the cell matrix that drops into your OEM catalyst if you can't source a specific one for your car.

Megasquirt and Apex i are good bolt on ECU's for Mitsubishi engines.
