57i indution kit for st

hope you can help my mate has got a ST. he has just got a 57i indution kit an i'm the one fitting it on monday if not before. what i want to know is does the ecu work out the diff in the air flow eyc. itself like on my audi or does it need to get checked out at a garage after i've done.

Yep. It will just think it is getting more oxygen, much like on a cold day, and compensate for this.

It can take 200 miles or so to get it spot on so don't worry if it doesn't quite feel right at first.

fitted it today an sounds great. he's happy an i told him it will take bout a week to run in which is bout 200 ish miles

Did it feel more powerful? They do make a great noise though.
