hi im interested in buying a 340 because they are cheap and rwd but they arent very quick at all, can anyone tell me the best way to produce more power?

to be honest mate im not very clued up on them at all, which would you advise?
if its a 340 your limited to 1.4 or 1.7, 1.4 is 70hp and 1.7 82hp but the 1.7 is a livly car imo
but if you want a bit more there is the volvo 360! 2.0 with 100hp-+ which uses a volvo redblock engine and can be tuned alot even turboed without much hassle.
also the 1.7 is good for clio 16v engine conversions! quick 140bhp that can be tuned up!
i have a 1.7 and loved it as a 1.7 but now has 1.8 16v power and i love it even more.
they go round corners well too, due to having the gearbox at the back and 50/50 weight distro.
