Hi I have a 2016 ps I would like to change the suspension to bilstien coilovers. I can't get a clear answer if they will fit or not because of the bigger discs. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The B14's are listed as compatible with the 208. They bolt to the hub and the brake disc dimensions shouldn't really come into this. The springs on the B14 are soft, which is perfect for daily use but if this is a track day focussed car you might want to fit some slightly stiffer springs to the kit.

FYI - The GTi has the 302mm disc and we see people fitting the B14PSS, KW var1 and KW STX kits to these.

Note that a 30mm+ drop is a little too far on this IMO I'd stick with around 20mm-24mm to maximise handling.

The key is to ask about compatiblity when you buy it, if they say yes and you have trouble fitting them you are entitled to a refund, although you get a full refund anyway in the UK within a short time after a distance selling purchase online if you return the product in good condition.

Hi thanks for getting back. I'm after something for daily use better than stock and will hopefully last longer. The discs on mine are 323mm with it been the pegout sport. I'll ask the seller if they will accept a refund if fitment issues thanks

Let us know how you get on, I know this thread will be read many times in the future with other people doing something similar.

Ok will do no quite on it yet. Spoiling her to 30000k ignition coils . I'm going to do spark plugs too. They are only 5k old

What do you need to know about gearbox oil on those? Are you doing all of your own servicing?

Be careful with the high power coils, they have been known to burn out plugs, but I guess that's why your replacing plugs with high quality ones with the correct heat rating and gap specs.
