Jag 2000 S-Type 4.0
Hi all, newbie to site. Have a beautiful white 2000 Jag S-Type 4.0, shop replaced front ball joints, etc, said the struts are shot at 122k miles. Rides rough, noisy clumnking sounds hitting bumps, seems to “float” like sensation at different times around 50 mph. Im told this car has auto adjust computerized shocks, too much $$$ for my budget, can non adjustable new strusts be used and NOT screw up the computer system??? Brand names? Full already coils preferred. Help appreciated!!!
