If you had £1k £2k £5k £7k to spend on an allrounder (something for commuting, playing, family and touring) what would you buy for each amount?

£1k - Punto GT
£2k - Punto GT Seb2 setup
£5k - Alfa 156 2.4JTD
£7k - High mileage Alfa GT 1.9JTD

Although I'd probably not spend less than 9 or £10k on a daily driver any more tbh.

If you're asking because you're after car ideas, this will be of no help :D

A boxster for £7 would be a bit of a steal. I had considered that but none came up when I searched although a very tempting S4 did!
