Has anyone done an engine swap on the 998 to the 1275cc engine? (Or any other engine swaps for that matter. I'm sure there are quite a few interesting engine conversion projects out there!)

Having raced Mini's some years ago I have dropped in various combinations. The last one was a 1340, Longman engine and st4 head, rallycross spec cam, 48 Weber, Jack Knight straight cut gearbox and a Quaife LSD. I designed and built my own rear beam axle, coilovers and rose jointed. Redundancy finished that one off :sad2:
