156 2.4 JTD Tuning

I just bought a 156 2.4 JTD and was wondering if anyone knew how best to increase the power?

I've been looking at remapping and have read about possibly needing to uprate the clutch to deal with the extra power from the remap, can anyone tell me anything else about this?

Remap is the way to go. Using the existing clutch for a while you will notice if it is slipping or not fully engaging when the power is on. If it looks like the clutch is struggling just drive carefully, book it in and get an uprated clutch. A diselahlic friend tells me that diesel clutches seem to be much more heavy duty than their petrol counterparts because of the high torque output of the engine.
