Notes:
1 Reserve to Production ratio (in years), calculated as reserves / annual production. (from above)

The figure you see on the end is the years left so Saudi Arabia has 72 years and so on. So the USA has 8, Iraq has 150 .all of the above are reserves which doesn't include whats already out and barreled

i heard on news about some scientists saying so.
the reason was that in the u.s. the usage of fuel was going down, while in the countrys in transition was growing up, so that would be the reason for that.
i hope, wish and pray for what you say.
it'll be awful driving electric cars.

I don't think anyone really knows how much oil is left. As it gets lower the price will go up and it will get increasingly hard to pump. We need a credible alternative power source in the next 10 years IMHO!

the better the technology gets the more oil we will be able to extract from oil shale/sands etc.... its just a case of how much we can pay before we buckle.

if the govt have their way we will all drive around with windmills strapped to the roofs of our cars.

I'm not sure we have a viable alternative yet. Are the oil companies supresses research and innovation or are these just conspiracy theories?

Did you see "Around the world in 80 Days" last night with that electric car very impressive especially 0-60mph in I think it was 3.6 secs and a range of around 180miles
