03 Tourer 2.4 Exec Auto SatNav Tuning

Hi All,

Looking for some advice with getting more out of this car. I suspect I need to start with engine mapping, ECU, intakes and exhuaust. Can anyone recommend someone, somewhere to go and check out? Has anyone made any mods to thier Tourer?

Where are you based? Are you after a track day car or just wanting to make it a bit faster on the roads? I would say do the remapped ECU last so it can take into account all of the other parts.

Is the 2.4 a VTEC engine?

Hi,

I work in Southend-on-Sea and live in Barnet which is Herts / North London. Looking to improve performance on the roads, especially accelaration. Not intending to track it. Waiting for the Atom for that (...snap...wakes from dream).

Yep, it is the 2.4i VTEC and the box is Auto.

hey and welcome, hopefully prince should pick up on this thread as he knows where alot of the good honda gus are.

A vtec controller will get the VTEC kicking in at a lower RPM. Get a set of exhaust headers and an induction kit with a cold air feed.

Some head work and maybe bigger valves will be your second phase.

What about a supercharger?

They are very good. Even if you just fancy some free advise. Have you thought about converting from automatic to manual? How much are you willing to spend?
