If its any use mate i bought a 4-2-1 header for mine and it has made a difference up top. Its not a Vtec but you can definately notice a difference after 4k revs.

I couldnt afford full coilovers, thats why i went for the adjustable spring set but there no good without the shortened shocks. They are £130 for the fronts, so added to the two sets of springs so far its getting up to near the same price anyway!!

Personally, i use bodyschutz for anything like that but grease does the job fine. If you dont it will be ok for the near future but it will start to rust after a while.

Totally agree, probably a broken core in the wire somewhere and when you brake hard its putting load on and breaking down so blowing the fuse. It wont matter how big a fuse you put in as its a cable issue. Just a guess

Its the 98 version, yeah think its MC1. Cant work out why its no lower than the lowering springs but yet i had to cut 3/4 of the bump stops and its still bottoming out most of the time. The only shortened shocks i can find are for the MB6 civic, the company says they should fit but im not sure...

I bought the adjustable spring kit and have fitted it to the front but to get it any lower than the original lowering springs i had to screw it right down and now the car bottoms out with a massive bang if i drive over most bumps!! Il have to buy shortened shocks now as well. :sad2:

I mean i dont think they give great light and arent great 4 looks. I read the reviews and they came out tops but ive had them for about 6 months and ive had cheaper bulbs which gave more light.

Prince Thanks. I plan to look out for a good engine and drop it in, as a turbo or extreme tuning of the o.e engine would cost a fortune and prob only bring it up to standard vti spec. Any suggestions for a power gain straight swap, no hassle?

Thanks, really wasnt sure that was true. Im looking out for a good Vti-s lump with gearbox etc as it has the most potential for tuning. If im gonna do a swap then im better doing it with the best performance engine i can find. Had been suggested to turbo my engine but for the same money or less...

I can only suggest ebay or similar mate but im not sure if the newer versions can be programmed yourself. I know the old Valeo type could be programmed by a series of locking and unlocking while opening the doors etc.

Hi mate, i have this engine in mine. Its the ZFR plugs. I always have trouble finding parts for this engine. Sometimes it cant be found under Civic listing so try the HRV listings for the engine code as that engine was put in them as well. Hope thats of some help
