    audi a3 2.0tdi upgrade

Well I know that's true for petrol, but i don't think Forge Motorsport would promote an atmospheric for diesel instead of a recirculating type without reason. I haven't decided which valve to opt for. I think I am likely to go with the Stratmosphere HX or one from Forge. The Forge can have...

M Series owners looking for tips.

Take £15k burning a hole in pocket for a new(ish) car.... Search AutoTrader online for BMW Alpina B3.3 (Non-multitronic version) 0-60 in 3.8 and its a luxury saloon!! Add proper sport suspension from H&R......(or KW Variant 3 if too harsh a ride on roads) Secret: AC Schnitzer used to do...

    AUDI A6 Clutch

Yeah, I did a few 0-60s on my remap and for everyday driving my cars fine, but there is too much power in the remap to allow me to launch from 3.5Krpm as the clutch just slips and burns!!! Essentially the dynamic torque handling capacity (when I am already moving along) of the OEM clutch is fine...

What difference between the 1.8T engine in the A3 & the

maybe you should just look at installing a Quafe ATB diff. That'll sort out your problem, plus any torque steer you get. Dowsnide is the steering may seem heavier, but in actuality it will be more precise and controlled.

    audi a3 2.0tdi upgrade

I'm not a diesel (or sooty) head but a petrolhead and know a few valves for petrol VAG cars... but the one I saw for diesel (from Forge Motorsport) turns out to be a dump valve (or blow off valve if you like that term instead). For a good intro to these, see here...

Newbie saying hello (yes another noob)

I want reliable power but sticking something like a Garret GT3071R is not going to keep the internals happy, so manifold, bottom end etc will need replacing. Long term project idea this.... because its expensive!! I would also use/have a custom ECU programming to de-tune the car for any road...

    audi a3 2.0tdi upgrade

Yeah, remap it, put a Diesel Diverter Valve in it from Forge Motorsport and think about placing a nice induction kit in it too. Is yours the sports model? What brakes it got on it? Maybe a turbo upgrade is cheaper than you think, though we are still talking at least a few grand, but big...

    AUDI A6 Clutch

I have an A6 1.8T SE W-reg (2000). I have been informed by Helix Autosport that the clutch assembly is the same as an A4 except my particular model of the A6 (APU engine code) has a flywheel unique to that year. I am wondering... since the VW Passat 1.8T is essentially the same vehicle, if an...

What difference between the 1.8T engine in the A3 & the

Essentially, nearly all 1.8T engines are the same. The TT's main difference for the added power is a KKK K04 turbo where as the 150bhp models use a KKK K03 turbo. There is a Haynes manual about the Audi TTs development history which lists all the differences. You can get a better, quicker...

Newbie saying hello (yes another noob)

Hi petrolheads (or sooty monsters), Just introducing myself. I have an Audi A6 I am thinking of changing for an A4 1.8T Quattro which ATP Turbo in the States got to 500bhp (courtesy of a Garret GT3071R turbo) and sub 12 seconds quarter mile with just a clutch, turbo and injector change alone...
