Due to the mods happening to my car over winter it is going to be difficult to use handbrake cables, do I need them? can I use a hydraulic handbrake? I see that Willwood make electric handbrake calipers for kitcars, so if a kitcar doesn't need a cable then surely a normal road car doesn't either.

Ok, I'm about to have a go at remote turboing my son's Almera Gti, what i want advice with is the return feed for the oil, (what sort of pump should i use?) bear in mind this will be major low budget.

This is just a little anectdote I once had to change the destributor drive on a saab 900 "overhead cam" engine, when I pulled out the shaft for the destributor drive, what a surprise to find another camshaft complete with all its lobes and fuel pump eccentric.
