Haha it the pd140 and pd170 both 16v just use different injectors system but mounts look the same

hello everyone sorry it been so long So no after owning my lovely astra and a work horse in between I treated my self to a 06 A3 2.0 tdi Quattro bkd so I love this car proberly to much so after 3 cheap turbo and a melted engine I. Now on a stage 2 hybrid and Acar ready for a full stage 2 map...

No big I did check all the pipes and the intake manifold and there is no sign at all

so to explain this turbo it is a gt17A housing with Gt17b internals turbine shafts etc

well le tme explain not long after fitting this turbo for some reason it blew the center pipe of considering that the intake side i dont know why but im guessing it may of sucked something in during this time cause a few chunk and chips to come of there for causing the in balance and wine can...

so after buying a new turbo i found what the issues were quite quickly Pics will follow , but this new hybrid i put on is something else , does anyone know what the maxium boost this engine can handle safely the turbo i have got is good up to 200 bhp only thing is i want to adjust it as it spool...

i did all of this even run deisal through the engine oil lines to clear them and yes i left it for about 12 hours to drain out

Yeah WHEN it runs properly it was at 187 and 290ftlb of torque so my target is 200bhp and 300ftlb which will give me plenty or go and good mpg when driven properly

Hello I went crazy with the old one cleaned all oil gullys feed intercooler , etc I made sure everything was flowing and free , no fragments and yes it a pd engine , I think it was just a very bad and cheap recon as the warranty came out his pocket

I have a feeling that the turbo he got under warranty was cheap as it comesnout his pocket

just a update new post now about hybrid turbo, the old turbo i got sorted pull like a dream to fun speeds but now it knackered so im going for a hybrid now XD P.S my mate vxr got nervous !!!

Yes all vacuum pipes have been replaced with silicone and boost pipes where replaced under warranty

yeah to be honest you can get the standard focus with mountunbe up to a 290 packadge and the touque figure is something quite tasty but with the vxr you can get the courtney packade whcih does the same but i a lot more costly for less per stage upgrade

I did think about the megane but for me it ether ford or vxr I argree about the ford ideas

i have to say OG my astra 1.6 with my parents as named incase they need it is 800 to insure the vxr with no one on it expect me i managed to get it down to 1000 but a 3.5 v8 land rover defender is only 370 !!!!!!!

have to admit this is funny to read my astra well it truely epic 115 bhp if im lucky will get my to 60 in around 9-10 second i think never measured but if i did 0-100 yeah , id be left behind
