Cheers mate. i know its only going on a stock motor but should make a load of difference from what i hear. I just want it so i dont have to worry about my motor blowing up though, lol, i dont want it tuned too high but definitiley want more acceleration out of it :)

My 2001 DC5 enghine light came on. Drive still feels normal but got exhaust done. Mech says could be the air sensors messing up cause they had been moved a little. Could that be possable? Any other ideas? Idle felt a little funny as it dropped a bit. Could be a vacuum leak? Any ideas owuld be...

Car runs alot better and quieter since i put the resonator/hotdog on it and the fixed the exhaust leak.

I figred the clunk. It happens when i release the clutch as a am braking :) is that a bad thing?

So the clunking noise could also be the brakes? even if it really only happens when not braking??? i will ask my mechanic to check the brakes for me on Monday :) Thanks.

Still paranoid about the brake pedal have a jumpoing feel to it sometimes likes its vibrating.

Think its a leak in my exhaust when they welded it up they missed a spot so that may explain the loss of power. thought it would happen as soon as i got it back but over the 2 weeks maybe a sharp jolt or something cracked a weak point in the weld.

For my particular car it would be: Exhaust, k-pro and cold air intake :) im 2/3 there, just need the K-pro :)

Welcome to the site mate. I always got a stright through exhaust system but if yours is straight through already (not sure on 370's) maybe get some bigger piping and a better intake system. That's my thoughts anyway mate. So many things to consider. It all depends on what you want as the end...

I chose "It's a Honda" simply because they are, to me, the most reliable car i have ever owned and its a car i really appreciate for its looks, great performance and handling for a 4-banger and i like the look of most of the Hondas built such as the 97' Prelude.

Welcome to the site mate, has a heap of info. I wanted a GPX FTO for a while but went a crx then a DC5 :) I would look at some lighter wheel if money is a problem. But really depends on what your going for.

Was serviced about 6 weeks ago but recently got a new highflow cat put on it so could it be a leak there??? No Faults when serviced and no lights showing up at the moment. Usinf V-POwer which if memory serves is 98 octane, so the best fuel available at the pumps.

Recently my car has been feeling like it has turbo lag (not a turbo though, lol) could this be a vacuum line? also felt like a knocking noise was happening a few times but havent heard it since. Any ideas people?

Not too bad if i do say so myself. We have alot of moutains around my part of Oz and highways for cruising so its a great mix of both :)

We cant even have a pod filter without it having a fully enclosed box, exhaust has to be under certain decible depending on the car, car cannot be lower than 100mm off the ground at all times including when people are in it, rims can be no bigger than 2 inches from stock without an engineering...

I always compare the 2, lol. I agree, in the corners i will keep up, maybe even be better (depending on the driver). In a straight though i would like to take one on at the track :)

My insurance is good here, i pay about 950 per year :) I would rather pay more insurance though and have more legal mods :)

That's true. Yeha i hear they are pretty quick 1/4 for a N/A car :) I just like giving it to stock skylines especially the r32's :)
