I have a 2004 audi A4 quattro with a 1.8 turbo. The cam chain tensioner failed because the nylon pad was worn. A new one costs $1000. and was wondering if anyone has just tried to replace the nylon pad?
my 2004 audi a4, 1.8 ran out of oil pressure. cam chain tensioner was damaged and chain may have jumped a notch. are the valves interference fit on these motors? will valves be bent?
