Current rims are Radius R12. Need a refurb at the minute though.

Not entirely sure how they have restricted it to be honest just know that they are in essence the same engine, same as the Astra & Vec 120/150 16 V engines :(

The SRi engine is a downtuned version of the VXR engine :)

Hello & Welcome, a lot of people will warn you to stay away from tuning boxes as all the do is fool the ECU, I have ran a tuning box on 2 of my cars with no problems over the last 4 years but as they will become an MOT failure and I cant be bothered removing it from the car I have decided to go...

The 1.7 engine will tune to about 170 bhp but the VXR will tune way past 200 in the Corsa and 300 in the Astra form, have read that there is someone transplanting an Astra VXR into the Corsa and is looking for over 400 bhp. Torque wise the tuned 1.7 will be better than the standard VXR Corsa...

I doubt you would get insurance that is affordable on a VXR to be honest, the CDTi engines are great I have owned both the Vec and Astra CDTi 150 engines and both are immensley tunable, they out torque the VXR via a stage one tune but then the VXR can go further and the torque starts to come...

Sound plans you have there but if I were looking to transplant an engine from the VX range it would be the Turbo (Z20 LEH) engine or the Corsa VXR (Z16LER) engine over a 2.5 V6 Lump, gains are much more impressive however with this you will need to upgrade clutch, brakes etc, so may just be...

Thanks again, I think the white wheels suit it better than the darker ones :) Dropping it on VXR Springs next week, a moddest drop, not too low as some of the speed bumps at work are made for 4x4s Im sure :( Gonna change the Rear boot strip to White Carbon effect if I can find some...

The Regal remap is a generic remap from EDS in Germany, if you can afford to then buy the IPF unit as well, which then gives you access to more maps via the internet and you can chop and change between maps as you please. I was down Regal a few weeks back with a mate who had his Zafira remapped...
