what il do is il take ecverything apart tommorow and measure everything and take pictures and post them here so you guys can give some guidance,if its best il take out the airbox totally i dont mind,i just want more power

yeh thats what my mate said but someone on here said that that wont make any difference in performance,thats why i goto take the airbox out and make that piping,i might aswell cuz the hks filter isnt cheap so i wana make sure i get the most benefit for it,if it has the induction pipe should defo...

nah i dont think so just the pipe where i thought i just attatch the filter onto

yep defo will do but itl take a few days,il have to measure everything then order the pipe off ebay and then wait for that to arrive and i need a MAF adaptor i think although i dont know what it does

That would be sorted,thing is I thought this was a 5 min job and no I dont know why I need the intake,something to do with cold air more oxygen therefore faster car,air filter same thing. I do want it doing in the next cople weeks,been told i can get upto 15bhp

Thanks for the info but I dont know anything about cars,now if you needed something doing to your laptop such as installing a screen you would probably be stuck as well if youv never done it before thats why I need the step by step instructions. Il need to find where the airbox is or a video on...

I dont need that filter though do I,just the pipe and which bit is the airbox that I need to change to tubing,I really dont want to pay someone to do it for me

Its the second one iv got the mushroom one with the green one. But do I need some sort of pipe to connect it to the engine or something?

Iv bought a hks air filter,it wasnt cheap. Now Im wondering some of these kits have pipes on them,do I need this sort of pipe with my filter or do I just stick it on,also one of my mates used to have a cold air feed coming from the bottom bumper of his car,what is that and where does it connect...

found a brand new k n typhoon induction kit that came of a 05 type r. Very cheap price. Just wanted to know if it will fit my civic 1.6 i vtec sport and what extra mods I would need?thanks. Also can a cold air feed be pumped into this?

remap shouldnt be the first thing unless you are not planning on any more mods,its mostly turbo diesels that benefit from a remap,a remap is usually done after the other mpds

i had a fiddle about today and from what i could feel i couldnt find a tap,i think il hav to disconnect the hose and then let the water run through it.il hav to get a radiator flush 2mro

nah should be alright mate,i mean all i want to do is see the settings that are on my original ecu,write these down and just tweak it a bit.i wont do it too much.i dnt think theres any real way the ecu can messup right or can messup the engine,just if the settings tht i tweak place too much...

hello.thanks for the reply bro. 8 have found out tht the box i circled is the resonator box. 8 have found a video on youtube showing how to do it for a car exact same model as mine. 5hing is he jacks up the car to drain the gearbox oil,is there anyway i can just suck it out using a pump?
