right i have just purchased a type 3 gearbox for my 1600 motor, all is well at the moment except that the size of the gear box is 70mm longer than the original and im a bit confused on what to do, i have been told that shortening the drive shaft would be easiest but also have been told that...

mk1s are still in high demand and we still have a few running round new zealand but sadly most mk1s n mk2s get the rally car treatment and all the metal is thrown away and fiberglass is installed roll cages and big engines, weight reductions ect ect, and then they get written off in an accedent...
