done that but still got the noise any more ideas

my 2002 206 GTI has got a weird noise coming from the engine someone said it could be one of the hydrolic lifters is there any way i can be shore that is the problem without taking it to get them replaced? thanks

i took the carpet out of my 206 gti then welded it in place and boleted it in as well then put the carpet back in and cut round then cage looks really good going to take some pics on monday and put them up on here

had mine built sprayed and fitter for £200 and will put some pics up of the car in next few days seam as it is completly finished inside and most of the outside only thing left to do is a respray

hi thanks for the reply but i have sorted it out put it on a diagnostic machine and it ended up being the cat so had a new one put on and a new lamber sensor and it running like a dream

hi i have 2 faults with my 206 GTI the first one it everytime i start it up i get anti poluttion fault on the center display it started after we had some snow here i also had the cat converter fault cum up after the snow but that stoped a few days after but this is still coming up and the second...

dont really want to do a turbo conversion would rather keep it naturally aspirated and just tune it as much as i can without turbo or supercharger i have been told i can get about 200BHP without turbo or supercharger but not shore what i would need to do to it to get that 200BHP any ideas...
