I thought the remap on the v10 is more a case of unlocking the power as it is basically the gallardo lp560 engine detuned,so it is easy to get it to the 560 bhp of the gallardo lp560,funnily enough the guy who put the superchargers on his v8 did the unlocking immediatly he got his v10.

I remapped my r8,and put a miltek exhaust on it.We could never get a reliable rolling road result,but witht he remap and exhaust we reckon it was about 440-460 bhp.The remap made a massive difference on the mid range,and allowed the engine to rev another 250rpm,it was a revo technik remap. I...

I would have thought in theory the less fuel the more economical the car is,due to weight,but it probably depends on the car,a range rover is not going to have a noticable effect because it weighs so much int he first place,maybe in a lotus you would see a noticable difference ?

it is actually quite quiet when below 4000 tpm,but then literally hell breaks loose.I do find myslef taking detours to drive through tunnels,the sound when you give it some through a tunnel is phenomenal. And thankyou all for the kind words about the car,.

Well I only had the r8 serviced once so my experience was limited.And lamborghini,only used so far on a warranty claim ,I am having the car looked after by an independant garage so not sure how much of the lambo dealer I will see.

I did lightly mod the r8,I had a milltek exhaust (oh what a sound,simply magnificent)and a revo technik remap power went from 414 up to about 445 bhp,it was an excellent remap. I will probably get another r8 at some point,it's magnificent as I said,and realistically a better car than the gallardo,
