Yeah I will do. It messes with your speedometer aswell doesnt it?
Ideally I'll want 16" rims so if anyone knows where I can get a decent pair of 16" alloys with tyres that would be great.
I've currently got the std plastic 15" trims on my car atm :(
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what kind of rims I should get for my 2003 Clio? And what size I should get?
Firstly I was thinking maybe 17" but i'm wondering if it will look like the car is basically on stilts! So maybe 16" will suit the car better without having to lower suspension etc.
I'm...
Yeah it is, i'll have a proper listen out for it another time I haven't really fully listened out for it.
Cheers for the advice, like you said i'm not keen on the idea about ripping everything out. Some of the things you've said I might take a look into though:blink1:
Hi,
Some of you guys may know I started a thread a while back about a cone filter for my Clio.
Anyways, I bought a nice K&N 57i Induction kit for it and fitted it no problems, however now that its fitted I can seem to hear any kind of difference from engine noise. Previous cone filters...
Yeah that makes more sense tbh. Where can I get some piping that you recommend?
I was thinking of PVC but I think temperature will definately be a big risk.
I dont mind paying a decent amount of money for a pre-made pipe but i'm not too keen on making my own pipe and buying my own tools etc.
Went and had a look at this ducting at Wickes today and it wont work, its too stiff to clamp tight and eventually it just rips, its not very flexable either.
I really cant think of what else to use, is there nothing actually designed specifically for my purpose?
Really nice mate, there is a similar Golf near where I live, its in a bright orange colour (not to keen on it myself). Buts its great condition, with nice rims and tyres.
Actually I've had an idea, that tubing has a greater diameter than the current standard tubing on the car. Its also long enough to reach across the full engine so i could just pull it over the standard tubing so its all the same colour and not half black and half aluminium, if you know what i...
Looks spot on mate, can you send me the link to that?
Also, how do you suggest I attach that to the existing tubing? I was thinking of using maybe a jubilee clip but that might not be best.
Cheers.
Sorry didnt realise there was a Clio section. Anyways I know you cant upload pics but here is a link to the picture, just copy and paste the URL into your address bar.

Hi all,
I've previously fitted an air filter for my Clio but it was universal and more dangerous than anything, as it had no brackets etc.
So I was considering buying a proper branded air filter that comes with brackets etc, to ensure its safe. But, when I fitted the universal air filter I...
